The Comdex network recently performed an update to move to Comdex v13.3.0. Our validator node, for Comdex, was successfully upgraded along with the network. However, an emergency upgrade was quickly planned to move to Comdex v13.4.0 on the morning of 12/23/2023.
On the morning of 12/23/2023, during the upgrade to Comdex v13.4.0, there was a prolonged outage of the network in which over 175 rounds of voting occurred before a block was successfully processed. Within that period, with a ~75-minute outage, our validator for Comdex was jailed. We tried multiple times to unjail our validator and join the active validator set to no avail.
Ultimately, our validator was jailed and tombstoned, meaning it was placed into the in-active set of validators and it could not be revived. Therefore, we had no choice but to create another validator node for Comdex and redelegate our CMDX to this new validator.
We are reviewing the upgrade process internally to determine what went wrong, and what caused our validator to become jailed. We will provide details via our blog once our investigation concludes. At this time we are asking ALL delegators to redelegate your CMDX from the below validator address.

If you had CMDX delegated to our Comdex validator we ask you to please redelegate your CMDX at this time!
We have reduced the commission to ALL delegators on our Comdex validator until July 1st, 2024 as a show of good faith to our delegators.
Our new Comdex Validator information is shown below.
